Our Casualty Care courses follow the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) guidelines for Civilians, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Hospitals. Our courses have been delivered to various local, state, and federal law enforcement organizations, private security teams, hunters, firearms instructors, and individuals. Response Ready is a Recognized Educational Partner of the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care
TECC is the civilian counterpart to Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). TCCC has been used in the military for more than 20 years with a significant decease in preventable death on the battlefield. Because ballistics do not care if the injury occurred in a combat zone overseas or at a public range in the United States, Casualty Care can be applied to every setting, combat, law enforcement, hunting, or recreational. Casualty Care is not just about gunshot wounds, any injury that leads to penetrating trauma can be dealt with using the knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitude presented in these courses. |
Casualty Care - Stop the Bleed
Casualty Care is a course to provide Hunters, Sportsman, and Shooters in general with the knowledge, skills, abilities and attitude to treat injuries received from severe penetrating and blunt force trauma. From a negligent discharge at the range to cutting yourself dressing you deer in the backcountry the ability to provide rapid trauma care to yourself or buddy may mean the difference between life and death. We will look at the current Tactical Combat Casualty Care Guidelines and show you how the same skills can be applied in the civilian setting. You will see real world examples that will demonstrate the need to have the knowledge and proper tools to deal with severe trauma. Topics
